I’m so happy to announce my fourth annual holiday ornament!  Each ornament has reflected where I am at and this one continues that tradition.

This year with the wonderful step of getting married and building a life with Chris, my theme is JOY!
 
The ornaments are still hand assembled and even though I haven’t mentioned this feature before, they will continue to be made of at least 40% post consumer recycled materials. Don’t worry, the structural boards are still museum quality, acid-free, I just use the pieces that are generated during framing. Thanks to Imagine it Framed in Simsbury for passing along remnants to me. The tassels may vary slightly—but, boy, aren’t they marvelous?! Plus, the gold paper of the background is a wonderful Japanese Rakusui paper. The way I understand it, the lacy holes get created when they drop water on the wet paper fibers.
