I’m so thrilled to announce my third annual holiday ornament!  Each ornament has reflected where I am at and this one continues that tradition.

This year has been so radically different.  The last two were the process of getting a divorce and being on my own and getting back on to my own two feet.  This year has been a completely different adjustment!  Back in March, I met a wonderful man, Chris, at (of all things) a speed-dating event (yes, that thing where you get 5 minutes with every guy at the event)!  The relationship has blossomed and grown and is very committed.  And since he has three children from his previous marriage, that has also meant instant family for me as well!  

So inspired by the new loves in my life with Chris and his beautiful children, here is my ornament!  I really wanted to have the ornament be in blue rather than a red because this wasn’t about just the passionate love of an intimate relationship, but about the love that surrounds us everywhere if we open our eyes to it.  It was one of the biggest lessons of getting out on my own after the divorce—experiencing all the love and support that came from people I knew, complete strangers, and even Mother Nature—but that’s a story in and of itself!  

This ornament is also a limited edition.  Each one is signed and numbered.  The lettering is a silk screen print on unryu paper from Thailand.  The beautiful white Haruki paper for the backing is from Japan.  Each ornament is made with archival materials. My last two ornaments have sold out, even last year’s with my crazy Nietzsche quote, so keep in mind these won’t be around forever.
